This is an article from 2006, when Bloomberg announced that the city would create a new office to ”aggressively pitch New York City around the world as the nation’s art and cultural capital” by helping cultural creatives deal with financial obstacles to making art in this city. Ironic to read considering the burdensome regulations recently proposed.
